I presented to 597 child care providers yesterday in Philadelphia, and met a lot of fantastic people. One woman introduced herself on a break and told me about her 16 year old son with Down syndrome. She told me, "He does not have special needs. He has the same needs as everybody else." As you are about to see, those words really inspired me. Thank you, Bitty!

Oh, this brought me to tears because I feel so much this way. My daughter has individual needs just like the rest of us. And most of all, she just "needs" to be treated like everyone else. Beautifully done...I will definitely put it on my blog.

Beautiful video April, I teared up watching this. My favorite picture in the video is the one with Levi and the bubbles, it's just stunning!!! What a perfect message to send...Our kids don't have "special" needs...They just have the same needs as any other child :)
